Monte Cielo Coffee Gourmet Dark Roast is produced in Finlandia in the Quindío province of Colombia.
This 18-acre farm is between 1585 and 1700 m (meters above sea level).
The farm is enclosed by the west side of Cordillera Central of the Andes Mountain resembling a “cielo alto place”.
These favorable conditions -volcanic soils and altitude- enhance its quality and refined taste making Montecielo an exceptional origin coffee.
By contrast, coffee trees will be healthier on soil rich in active organic matter, they will have a better leaf area-to-fruit ratio leading to better quality and unique cup characteristics.
Monte Cielo Coffee Gourmet Dark Roast is proud to present its exclusive Gourmet Dark Roast, a coffee that encapsulates the pure essence of Filandia, Quindío, Colombia. Meticulously cultivated at impressive altitudes of 5050 to 6000 feet, this 100% Arabica coffee benefits from a unique climate and geography that bestow unparalleled characteristics.
Our selection includes the finest varieties of Caturra, Castillo, and Colombia beans, harvested between September and December, with a second flowering from March to June, ensuring exceptional freshness and quality.
The production process of our Gourmet Dark Roast begins with a meticulous washing and a controlled fermentation of 22 hours, followed by sun-drying on patios that preserve the integrity and nuances of each bean.
This careful process highlights a distinctive flavor profile, with deep notes of chocolate, vanilla, and almond, promising a rich and immersive sensory experience.
We invite connoisseurs and coffee lovers to discover the magic of Monte Cielo Coffee Gourmet Dark Roaste, where each cup is a tribute to Colombia’s rich coffee tradition
